Corps Security At 163: The World’s Oldest Security Company And A Social Enterprise.
Founded by Captain Sir Edward Walter in 1859 as The Corps of Commissionaires to provide gainful employment to returning servicemen after the Crimean War, Corps Security has come a long way.
Having started as the ‘Original Eight’ after Thomas Hancock VC joined in March 1859, we are built of people who embody our founding values, ‘loyalty, integrity and service’. As a Social Enterprise, we are proud of our continued commitment to our people and contributing to a safer future through the blending of human and technology-based specialist security services.
We are ever proud of the time-honoured patronage of our Chief Life Governor, HM The Queen, and for the support of our customers, service partners and colleagues.
