The Security Event 2026

The Security Event 2026: People, purpose and progress

The Security Event (TSE) returned to the NEC Birmingham this year, bringing together thousands of security professionals for live demonstrations, regulatory updates, and conversations that shape where our sector is heading.

For Corps Security, it was an opportunity to showcase our evolving focuses, from the autonomous robots patrolling our stand to the social enterprise values that have defined us since 1859.

Innovating with purpose

Our stand greeted visitors with technology from our partner, AutoDiscovery, taking centre stage. On display were three robotic options that give a clear sense of where autonomous security operations are heading. The first, Secunit, is a robust and agile security robot platform designed for autonomous patrol and surveillance. Built on the AgileX Ranger Mini 3.0 chassis, it combines omnidirectional mobility with a high payload capacity, making it ideal for complex indoor and outdoor environments. Alongside it were the A2 Quadruped Robot, a legged robot built for harsh and dangerous environments with a high payload capacity, IP54 rated and capable of navigating all terrains, including staircases; and the Universal Mobile Robot, a flexible logistics robot with precision navigation and multiple driving modes.

These technologies sit alongside our suite of innovations embedded across operations, including both internal and external drones with thermal imaging and AI-powered smart tracking, metal detector arches and sensors that reduce the need for manual site-wide checks.

As our team at the NEC demonstrated, at the centre of all innovation are people. Our newly established Innovation and Technology Services division strives to use technology to extend what our security teams can deliver. These innovations keep our colleagues safer and give our clients more comprehensive protection through 24/7 patrols and hazard detection that increases visibility beyond human capabilities, while reducing risk.

Andrea Strong, Group Director of Technology and Innovation and Executive Director for Corps Monitoring, was also interviewed by Security Journal UK on our stand. She discussed our approach to technology, the work of our new innovation division, and how our monitoring and intelligence capabilities are being brought together into integrated solutions for clients.

Watch her full interview here.

Corps Intel, our specialist intelligence and risk management service, was also on hand to discuss its capabilities. Corps Intel’s analyst-led offer helps organisations understand their exposure to threats and act before disruption occurs, because a business is only as strong as its weakest point.

Corps Intel demonstrated how organisations can spot a threat before it arrives at their door and have the correct procedures in place to deal with it effectively. Visitors could explore its wide range of services, from threat monitoring and digital footprint assessments to security consultancy and physical penetration testing.

In any sector, threats can emerge without warning. Our stand demonstrated how our technological capabilities and bespoke intelligence services are advancing, giving visitors a clear picture of what modern, proactive security looks like in practice.

Social enterprise at the forefront

We were also proud to host a “pod” in the Social Enterprise Village at The Workplace Event, TSE’s sister show. Our Chief Operating Officer, Paul Lotter, took part in one of its speaker sessions, entitled “What is a social enterprise?”, which examined the power and impact of organisations that put purpose at the centre of how they operate.

Corps Security became a social enterprise to further support the causes we have been working with since our founding in 1859, when we were created to give employment to soldiers returning from the Crimean War. It means that all our profit is reinvested into the organisation or donated to our charity partners, including Combat Stress, Blind Veterans UK and the Army Benevolent Fund.

More recently, we became a Veteran Owned Business, with 100% of our trustees being military veterans, and 97% of our colleagues earn at or above the Real Living Wage.

Being a social enterprise furthers our commitment to our people and our industry, using the social values that have shaped our business for over 167 years.

Looking ahead

The Security Event 2026 reflected an industry thinking carefully about what it means to deliver security well: deploying the best available technology, staying ahead of threats with proactive intelligence, and keeping people at the centre.

Though security itself and certainly the tools at our disposal have changed significantly, the same principles have guided Corps Security since 1859. Seeing the changes in the sector reflected so clearly made for an energising few days in Birmingham, and left us with plenty to build on.

Corps Security secures contract with Salvation Army Homes

Social enterprise security specialist Corps Security has been appointed to deliver guarding services for Salvation Army Homes’ supported housing project, Bruce House, in Westminster. Two dedicated security officers will be based on site, supported by a wider relief and cover team. Corps Intel will also provide consultancy and intelligence services.

The contract builds on Corps’ previous work at Bruce House, coupled with its strong track record of working with supported accommodation providers. This sector experience allows the team to deliver a consistent, capable service that understands the specific environment and needs of the people within it.

Bruce House accommodates vulnerable residents in a supported housing setting, making responsible and community-focused security delivery a central requirement of the appointment. Corps’ officers are trained to approach their work with empathy and an understanding of safeguarding responsibilities, ensuring a security provision that supports the welfare of those living and working at the property.

Both Corps and Salvation Army Homes have longstanding commitments to supporting communities, vulnerable people and the Armed Forces. Salvation Army Homes selected Corps due to its social enterprise status, Veteran Owned Business accreditation, and experience in supporting vulnerable communities.

Philip Smith, Regional Manager, London and South East for Salvation Army Homes, said: “Security at a supported housing site requires more than physical presence. Corps’ community-focused approach reflects our values and high level of care. Their experience at Bruce House and commitment to the people they serve made them the right choice going forward.”

Chester Barnes, Security Solutions Manager at Corps Security, said: “As a social enterprise, we share a philosophy with Salvation Army Homes to support and reinvest in the communities we serve. Together, we will run Bruce House with empathy and understanding at the forefront. We are excited to explore what this partnership can grow into.”

Founded in 1959, Salvation Army Homes is a specialist housing services provider owning over 4,100 homes across England. The organisation provides supported accommodation, general needs homes and older person homes, helping individuals and communities access safe and stable housing.

Corps Security: Celebrating 166 Years

Today, Corps Security is thrilled to be celebrating 166 years of service in providing meaningful employment to its colleagues by securing customers’ assets throughout the UK. Our rich heritage continues to guide our values today, while embracing a pioneering spirit, new ways of working and advanced technologies to spearhead the modern-day security threat landscape.

How we respond to threats may have changed over the years, but there’s one thing that hasn’t. Our social mission to be an ethical business that prioritises care for its people and the wider world. Our history keeps us anchored to the trusted values that our customers all know and love.

How it all began

In 1859, Captain Sir Edward Walter, had a mission to provide employment opportunities to brave veterans returning from the Crimean War. On the 13th February 1859, he officially founded the Corps of Commissionaires, marking the beginning of a long-standing commitment to supporting those who had served their country.

Putting people and planet first

In 2021 we officially became the first national security guarding company in the UK to be awarded social enterprise status. It is important to us that this status is celebrated among our workforce, and with our customers. We encourage all colleagues to learn more about what being a social enterprise really means and why it is so important to us, and to society at large. We’ve even created a Social Enterprise Module on Securing Excellence as part of our training programme.

And for our customers, we can now better support them in reaching their ESG targets. Every £1 spent with us counts as diverse supplier spend.

Continuing our legacy

In 2022, we formed the Corps Veterans Association (CVA), staying true to the founding value that Corps Security was built on to support veterans in finding meaningful employment and creating a support network and a platform where they can have their voices heard.

We support a number of veterans charities. Through our Charitable Donations Committee, last year we distributed £100,000 to charities that align with our mission. These contributions were made possible through the support of our trustees. Our colleagues also held many activities to help raise much-needed funds for charities, raising an astonishing £265,164.

Last year, His Majesty King Charles III was appointed the Chief Life Governor and Royal Patron of Corps Security. This follows a long-standing tradition dating back to 1901, when King Edward VII first took on the role. It was then carried forward by King George V, King Edward VIII, King George VI, and, from 1952, by Queen Elizabeth II.

A special thank you as we celebrate the past and look to the future

As the oldest security company in the world, we couldn’t maintain the incredible work we do without the dedication and professionalism shown by all of our colleagues, and the support from our loyal customers.

Thank you to each and every person that has contributed to continuing the Corps Security success. Here’s to another 166 years of providing exemplary security services with a social mission.

How Corps Security Made A Difference In 2024

At Corps Security, giving back is at the heart of who we are. This year, we’re thrilled to reflect on the incredible fundraising milestones achieved by our team and partners. From challenging physical feats to heartfelt moments of remembrance – our collective efforts have raised significant funds to support vital causes.

Supporting our Colleagues

It’s a priority for us at Corps to support our colleagues as part of our commitment of care. We’ve prioritised the well-being of our colleagues through the Welfare Fund, allocating an impressive £38,851 to support our team members in times of need.

To thank our hardworking team that make up our social enterprise, we gifted our colleagues a share of £18,000 as part of our Instant Recognition scheme. We strive to ensure that all our employees are paid the living wage or above.

Customer Rebate Programme

Our innovative customer rebate programme, which donates 1% of our customers’ security costs, contributed £28,714 this year. This initiative enables our partners to join us in supporting meaningful causes.

Charitable Donations Committee

Through our Charitable Donations Committee, we distributed £100,000 to charities that align with our mission. These contributions were made possible through the support of our trustees. This year, we were proud to share the donations with the following charities:

  • RAF Benevolent Fund
  • RNRMCT
  • ABF, The Soldiers Charity
  • RNA
  • Blind Veterans UK
  • BLESMA
  • SSAFA
  • The Not Forgotten Association
  • Walking with the Wounded

Charitable Events by Our Colleagues

Our colleagues held so many activities to help raise much-needed funds for charities, raising an impressive £50k in total. These activities included:

  • Coast-to-Coast Challenge: Our incredible team embarked on the Coast-to-Coast challenge to raise vital funds for Combat Stress, a charity supporting veterans’ mental health. They covered Bowness-on-Solway to Whitley Bay, covering 92.5 miles. That’s roughly the length of Hadrian’s Wall.
  • The Annual Charity Football Tournament: On 4th September, five Corps teams competed in a thrilling 7-a-side match. The North team triumphed once again, and the event raised £360 for Combat Stress, which we matched to double the total impact.
  • SSAFA 13 Bridges Challenge: On Armed Forces Day, our team crossed 13 of London’s iconic bridges, raising funds and awareness for SSAFA. Operations Director Ken Fissenden remarked, “It’s always an honour to take part in this challenge. I couldn’t be prouder of the team’s efforts.”
  • Eastbourne to Brighton Walk: Our National Accounts team walked 26 miles and raised an astounding £6,500 for Combat Stress. We walked alongside our clients from Centrica and CBRE.
  • London Landmarks Half Marathon: In April, our team raised over £4,000 for Combat Stress, showcasing the power of teamwork and determination. They ran past 17 iconic London landmarks, including Big Ben, the London Eye, St Paul’s Cathedral, and Tower Bridge, all supported by a cheering crowd.
  • Pirates of the Corps-ibbean: Our team also got creative with events like the Dragon Boat Race to support WaterAid, dubbed ‘Pirates of the Corps-ibbean’. They made waves and raised vital funds for this global cause, demonstrating that fundraising can be both impactful and fun.
  • Combat Stress Remembrance Trip: In a heartfelt tribute, Corps Security team members travelled to D-Day landmarks, laying wreaths at the British Memorial and Pegasus Bridge. While honouring the memory of those who served, this initiative also raised funds for Combat Stress, helping to ensure veterans receive the support they deserve.

In past years, we’ve also raised funds with ultra marathons and our cycle race, Tour de Corps. There really is no stopping our team!

Looking Ahead

The total amount contributed to colleagues and charities this year is a testament to the generosity, hard work, and dedication of our Corps family. Thank you to all of our colleagues and customers who played a vital part in these successes, because your efforts are truly making a difference. Here’s to another year of giving back and creating positive change together.

Corps Security Wins SFE Security Team Of The Year

Social enterprise security provider Corps Security has won Security Team of the Year at the Security & Fire Excellence (SFE) Awards. The organisation won for its robust collaboration with J.C. Bamford Excavators Limited (JCB), where it developed strong Standard Operating Procedures in response to increased protests.

Held at this year’s Anticipate, the annual FM, fire, health and safety and security expo event, the SFE Awards celebrates the best people, projects and processes in the security and fire sectors.

In the face of ongoing public hostility and increased organised protests, JCB was approached by organised groups, some operating via online platforms. Corps Security has previously worked with the JCB security department to intervene, but as these incidents increased, they developed a new, more robust strategy, including social media protest tracking.

Corps was recognised for delivering its Standard Operating Procedure which focused on the teams’ knowledge and understanding of response procedures, and its regular testing of officers. It also deployed vehicles for mobile patrols and body-worn cameras, visual deterrents that enhanced response time and recorded vital evidence.

Corps’ internal consultancy team, Corps Consult also helped understand, plan and prepare the security response at JCB locations, using its social listening tool to track how JCB is featured in global conversations, predict possible events and proactively respond. Corps Consult also analysed the impact local businesses may have on JCB sites depending on affiliation and proximity. This information is routinely disseminated to all relevant stakeholders, so Corps and JCB can work together to respond to any threats.

Corps Security was also awarded Silver for the Diversity and Inclusion Champion category, Bronze for Security Guarding Company of the Year (over £35m turnover), and 3rd for Industry Choice Security Guarding Company.

Paul Lotter, managing director at Corps Security, said: “We are honoured to win this award and work with JCB, an organisation we share many values with. We provide high-level security services and analytics on relevant threats, but it is especially meaningful to work with an organisation committed to the safety of its community. We look forward to growing our collaboration.”

Scott Gilman, security operations manager at JCB World HQ – UK, said: “Corps has embraced the challenges of this contract, working collaboratively with stakeholders across our estate and providing us with enormous reassurance in its delivery of critical services. Our values, behaviours and culture align, to regularly demonstrate how we prioritise the wellbeing of employees. I am delighted that Corps has won this award, and look forward to the partnership continuing to grow.”

5 Minutes With… Hayley Page

We’re bringing back our blog series ‘5 minutes with’ to highlight the important members of our team and the wonderful work they do. First up is senior bid manager, Hayley Page.

Tell us a bit about your role.

I manage the Corps bid team, where we oversee the bid cycle from start to finish. I also assist in creating the bid strategy and process. However, I also have links with other marketing and internal communications teams to make sure important Corps messages are circulated. I absolutely love bids, and Corps gives me a wide variety of bids to work on every day.

Where did you work before joining Corps Security?

I’ve worked in FM for 17 years. Before joining Corps, I was at Mitie for over 11 years where I worked my way up from sales administrator up to national bid manager.

Tell us a bit about your journey at Corps?

I joined Corps in May 2017, when my little boy was 10 months old. My first win was Tata Steel, the largest steel producer in the UK. I’ll always be immensely proud of such a monumental win. I have also worked on some significant social value projects since I joined the business, including Corps being recognised as a real living wage employer and becoming a social enterprise.

What steps has your development taken and how has Corps supported you in this?

In 2021, Corps promoted me to Senior Bid Manager to manage the bid team. But our team is so much more than bids. We have a vast array of tasks that come to our team, including design work, award submissions, project work, and many other marketing tasks. It’s such a varied role and our team gets involved in a lot of different areas of the business, which means there’s no such thing as a quiet day!

What’s been the biggest highlight of your role?

I received the Environmental Champion award at our conference in 2024. It was such a special moment to be recognised for the work I did to assist Sharon McLaren on the EcoVadis assessment process and for being a member the Environmental Steering Group. Because of our efforts, we gained silver status through EcoVadis.

What are the key ingredients to finding happiness at work?

Happiness comes from working in a great team where you feel supported and share the same goals. That is exactly what we have at Corps.

What helps you create a good work/life balance?

Having the option to working remotely gives me the flexibility to create the perfect balance between work and home. Because I can work from home, I’m able to take my son to school and attend sports days and class assemblies. It means that I can manage my work hours without missing out on important personal life activities.

What do you love most about working at Corps?

Without exception, everyone in our business is amazing. If you have an interest in a topic, and it aligns with Corps, then no doubt you will incorporate this into your role. I had a passion for people earning a real living wage, so I worked on this project. Not only did we get recognised as a service provider, we then won a Living Wage Champion award in 2022.

Corps Security Wins Two Year Contract With Centrepoint

Corps Security has secured a two-year contract with Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity.

The contract, which commences on 30 November 2023, will see the security expert provide night concierge security and security guarding services to seven locations in London. While there is a strong emphasis on front of house security and safeguarding, the Corps Security team will do more than keep people and properties safe and secure – the 14 officers that are due to TUPE over from the incumbent will be the friendly face of the charity, offering a warm welcome to those who arrive at the supported accommodation. Following enhanced DBS checks, each officer will receive the latest safeguarding training to comply with updated regulations.

Centrepoint’s mission is to help the young people through support with mental and physical health, life skills and accessing education and employment, Centrepoint’s work is about empowering vulnerable young people. The charity’s ethos feeds into the security guard provider’s mission to protect the communities it serves.

Both parties are passionate advocates for the Living Wage Foundation, and the London Living Wage will be implemented into the contract at the new rate announced in October 2023.

These shared values underpinned Centrepoint’s decision to award the security contract to the social enterprise with a 160-year history of delivering social value. Another reason is Corps’ commitment to driving stigma change when it comes to mental health in security.

“We feel privileged to be working with Centrepoint,” said Mike Bullock, CEO at Corps Security. “This is an exciting win for us because we love working with charities, and this particular contract covers a large area of the city and will allow us to demonstrate our resilience. As a security partner that is focussed on delivering not just expertise but social value, we will do whatever we can to give back to this vulnerable community. We are already discussing ways we can collaborate outside of the contract, such as supporting the charity with job fairs and mentoring. For us, it goes beyond safeguarding and security excellence. It’s about protecting and improving lives.”

Ed Tytherleigh, Centrepoint’s Director of Services, added: “We awarded the contract to Corps Security because they share our values and want to improve the lives of vulnerable people. Corps’ personal touch during the tender process was fantastic – they were responsive, attentive, and proactive throughout. We’re looking forward to this next chapter and to working with a ‘people first’ security expert.”

Who Will Take On The 1% Challenge In 2023?

Corps have recently revealed that our long-term customer, Addleshaw Goddard have taken our 1% challenge – or 1% Contract Value Donation Challenge (but that’s a bit of a mouthful)!

You may be asking; What is the 1% Challenge?

As part of being a registered Social Enterprise, Corps commits to donating a percentage of our profits to our chosen charity partner, Combat Stress – with all remaining profits reinvested into the business to support our people. As a trust-based organisation, we do not have shareholders and do not pay dividends from those profits.

Corps also undertakes fundraising activities for Combat Stress, alongside a raft of other charities, as part of our primary mission to support the UK veteran community.

The 1% Contract Value Donation Challenge extends that charity support in partnership with our customers. As part of the challenge, the customer commits to adding 1% of their contract value as an annual donation to Combat Stress, which will go towards providing essential mental health and wellbeing support to veterans across the country.

How does this benefit the customer?

Socially conscious businesses will often look for ways to improve their social impact in line with their CRS and ESG policies. For many, becoming a social enterprise is not an option available to them. Committing to the 1% Challenge provides a secure and existing donation route that is easy to maintain throughout the contract with Corps. Our existing relationship with Combat Stress reduces the legwork required to engage with such a social mission and can be a first step to a wider social strategy for our customers to support underrepresented groups across the UK.

Why combat Stress?

Corps Security was founded on what is considered one of the first engrained social missions of its nature, to provide gainful employment for those who served in the Crimean War. That mission remains, however Corps Security has modernised it to offer wider and more profound support for the veteran community across the UK.

Combat Stress is the UK’s leading charity for veterans’ mental health. For over a century, they have helped former servicemen and women with mental health problems such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety and depression. Today they provide specialist treatment and support for veterans from every service and conflict, focusing on those with complex mental health issues. The work they do is life-changing and often lifesaving. No one else can match what they can do.

How will 1% help the charity?

A common question we are asked is how such a small percentage will make a difference. With Combat Stress, every penny counts, and the money is used wisely on a wide range of support services for veterans.

As a live example, the below graphic shows what will be funded from the Addleshaw Goddard donation alone.

Addleshaw Goddard

How can you get involved?

If you are a Corps Security customer, please speak to your Contract Manager who can put you in touch with the relevant contact. We would be delighted to explain in more detail.

If you are not a Corps Security customer, you can get involved with other initiatives including fundraisers – such as the Tours de Corps or donate directly to the charity via their website here.

Paying The Living Wage In A Cost Of Living Crisis Is Still The Right Thing To Do

Corps Security are here to support our customers at a time of concern and anxiety.

As announced by the Living Wage Foundation today, the real Living Wage has increased by 10.1% for next year – meaning the rates are now £10.90 (£11.95 in London). The Living Wage is calculated based on various factors, including inflation, so considering the cost of a basket of essentials, balanced against other costs such as energy, fuel and essential living expenses. The war in Ukraine, COVID-19, and various other factors have meant that the wage rise this year is more extensive than ever. More detail of this process can be found here.

Corp Security - Living Wage Table

Corps Security is a Recognised Service Provider with the Living Wage Foundation

Corps Security has been a staunch supporter of the Living Wage, and we became a recognised service provider in 2019. We were delighted this week when we passed another milestone once again, as now 97.5% of all Corps Security staff are receiving the Living Wage or above. In short, this means that all directly employed staff at Corps are paid the Living Wage as standard, and we actively work with our customers to ensure our contract staff get paid the same.

How have we managed to continue to raise our colleagues on the Living Wage?

When Corps became a Social Enterprise and achieved Recognised Service Provider with The Living Wage Foundation, we reinforced our ongoing commitment to our people. We are very proud of it, leading to winning extraordinary contracts with companies who share our focus. However, this does come at a cost – and has had a detrimental effect on the bottom line.

As one would expect, not all our contracts allow leeway to ensure our colleagues receive the Living Wage. This has led to difficult yet productive conversations with our customers to find a solution that focuses on our colleagues’ working conditions. We have been delighted with the positive response. It has led to creative thinking, the development of new ways of working and focused energies on efficiency, which has seen contracts adapt to the current financial challenge.

We are here to support you

At Corps we understand the financial burdens you are facing – we are too. We know your concerns and understand that analysing the supply chain and expenditure will be an essential part of your efforts to make cuts in your business. Nobody is more qualified to help you review your security than your supplier, so over the coming weeks, our team will be in touch to offer free consultancy and open conversations on this subject. We will include the opportunity to perform reviews to improve efficiencies and manage your contracts differently. I do hope this will help to show our commitment to you.

Our colleagues mustn’t be the first to suffer because of the impact of our business’ rising costs, as their bills continue to impact their quality of living. Let’s work together for our people and in turn, our future.

ARMED FORCES DAY 2022: Celebrating our ex-military colleagues

Armed Forces Day is significant in the Corps Security calendar. It underpins the very reason we exist as the oldest security company in the world and as a social enterprise. When Captain Sir Edward Walter founded the Corps of Commissionaires in 1859 with the social mission to provide gainful employment to servicemen returning home after the Crimean War, it was the beginning of a lasting commitment to the Armed Forces.

While the world around us has changed in many ways, the need for dedicated servicepeople who sacrifice so much of themselves to protect our country remains. Equally, the physical and psychological effects that Service can have on Forces personnel are still ever-present. So, it is vital that we continue with our social mission to support our Armed Forces.

Returning to civvy street

With approximately 3% of the UK workforce currently made up of veterans, we are proud to have a significant number of our own Corps colleagues as ex-service people. We maintain close partnerships with Combat Stress, the UK’s leading charity for veterans’ mental health, and SSAFA, the armed Forces charity, to offer tailored support for the ex-military community as they reintegrate to civvy street.

Today in particular, we celebrate our own ex-service colleagues and the wider Armed Forces community for their bravery and dedication to keeping our country safe with a roll call of some of our Corps veteran colleagues.

Roll call

Terrance Moore served in the Royal Irish Regiment from 1985 to 1997 before leaving service and beginning a career in security. Now a security relief officer at Corps, Terrance believes its Corps’ unique military feel and understanding of the challenge of returning to civvy street that make it an ideal company for ex-military personnel.

Martin Weller joined the First Battalion Royal Welch Fusiliers in 1979. Stationed for training in Brecon, Wales, Martin’s service took him to Germany, Northern Ireland, and Port Stanley in the Falklands. After leaving in 1989 in search of new challenges, security was a natural fit. Today, as a security officer at the Office for National Statistics, Martin emphasises the importance of support for the Armed Forces in respect for what they sacrifice to protect our freedoms, particularly following the difficult times we’ve faced globally.

James Henderson started in the Parachute Regiment before joining Royal Military Police. After his service that took him to Norway, Germany, Northern Ireland and Bosnia, James transferred his military training to a career in close protection security and is now a national security consultant at Corps Consult.

Darrell Jacques entered service in 1979, joining the Royal Artillery stationed in Germany with tours in Northern Ireland and Canada. After leaving service in 1994 following phase one redundancy, Darrell turned to security which has led him to become regional director, northern region, at Corps Security today.

Gail Houston first worked in the Royal Naval Reserve during the early 80s. Stationed at Gosport with the Submarine Service, Gail served four tours in Gibraltar, two tours in the Falklands, and on to Northern Ireland. By the mid 90s, dissatisfied with progression opportunities within the Women’s Royal Naval Service, Gail joined Corps Security. 26 years later, Gail is an administrator at Corps Security based in Belfast.

John Ford’s career in security began in 1998. By 2014, John had joined Corps Security and a year later joined the Royal Air Force and is still a serving Reservist today. John is a regional director for London and the South East.

Support our Armed Forces

In support of Armed Forces Day, Corps Security is taking part in the SSAFA 13 Bridges Walk, raising money for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, with many of our team wearing their military uniforms during the charitable activity.
