Dear Colleagues,
Well, February is here already. That means we are moving towards Spring and some lighter, and more importantly warmer days in the weeks to come.
There is a lot going on in the background as we continue to review the business to ensure we are providing you with everything you need to do your job, have access to the information that you need and liaising with our customers to ensure our targets for the real Living Wage are met as we approach the new financial year in April.
A brand NEW Corps Connect is coming…
I am delighted to inform you that we have made the decision to update Corps Connect. Over the years, Corps Connect has provided us with a platform to share information, book holidays, check payslips and engage more with each other.
As we continue to grow, and following the feedback from the Your View Matters survey, we have become aware of some of the limitations to the current Corps Connect platform. Last year, a team from operations, including HR, undertook some research to see what alternative options were available to us. There were many requirements for the new platform, but some of the issues that are important to you were considered in the search.
I am delighted to say that we found the ideal solution and we have signed up to industry leading service, Reward Gateway. This partnership will see the delivery of a bespoke platform being built and managed that is exclusive to Corps. The platform will offer each of you your own profile, with tailored news for you. You will still be able to review your payslips, plus book holidays, contact members of the team, order and review uniform, read and download your employment policy, contracts and so much more.
What Reward Gateway also offers you is rewards, special offers and vouchers all in one place. The new Corps Connect will combine many services and is being built by a project team – not a small project – with a view to a having a soft launch for select colleagues in March, with access provided to all colleagues by April 2023.
We will of course keep you updated on the progress and look forward to getting your views on it when it arrives.
The Living Wage
I know that I mention the Living Wage every month, that’s because I know how important it is for all of you. I am immensely proud of the ongoing conversations and negotiations that continue with our customers to demonstrate the importance of paying a fair and real Living Wage.
There has already been a considerable number of customers who have agreed to continue to pay the real Living Wage when in increases this Spring, and we are on course to maintain a high level of colleagues paid the real Living Wage. I was proud to hear that some customers have already increased the rate on the back of the work by our colleagues in the customer team.
Our mission and target to reach 100% of all colleagues paid at least the minimum of the real Living Wage remains and I will continue to update you when negotiations are completed.
